Concerts &
Special Events
The Concerts & Special Events Committee of the
Music Ministry department sponsors unique programs to bless and enrich CPC
members and visitors.
Some of our special programs have included:
Gylchris Sprauve In Concert
Tenor Gylchris Sprauve invited a 20-piece orchestra to help him present his
original material during an elegant and spirit-filled evening of testimony
through song.
Christmas In July
Special guests The Brothers of Washington, D.C. joined Sheri Jackson, Nathelene
McMillan-Moore, 4-One and Lauri & Regina for a summertime celebration
of Christ’s birth, reminding us that “His Death Gives Life All
Year Long!”
Evening Rhapsody – A Classical Concert
Musicians playing a variety of instruments rendered a blessing through classical
music. Presenters included Michelle Brown, Piano; Linda Eagleson, Flute; Tiffany
Franklin-Bell, Soprano; Wendy Willis, Harp; Gylchris Sprauve, Tenor; and John
Stoddart, Piano.
Giving Him Serious Praise
A kick-off to the “Real Homeland Security” evangelistic crusade,
Higher Calling’s first Praise Celebration was an exciting evening of
song that culminated in decisions for Christ.
